About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven host to work within our wellness space to provide impeccable service for our customers.  The Healthful Host will treat the clinic and our clients as they would their family. This candidate plays an important role in the clients journey at Healthful and will become direct contact for customer service and support. The role is to warmly welcome customers to the wellness space and ensure the clients feel calm and relaxed within the space. An eye for detail will mean they will know the clients ideal sauna temperature preference, herbal tea choice and how to best shape their experience within the clinic. The appropriate candidate will have excellent communication skills and enjoy being a part of a wellness environment. 

The Healthful Host will have a love for all things systems and procedures and will be able to implement and teach others within the space to create ease for clients and team alike. This will include managing the booking site, orders, waitlist and client experience such as email campaigns and social media ideas. 

The host should have a keen interest in health and wellness and will be able to guide clients to which service best suits their current needs. The host will handle these enquiries through email, phone and social media as well as within the clinic space. 

A gentle marketing approach will mean they are finding ways to increase engagement on socials and increase sales via various channels. Educating clients on the range of retail products and services on offer to increase bookings and returning clients. Using tools such as Canva, the host will design content for upcoming newsletters and social media. 

The Healthful Host will have experience with administration, being able to reconcile daily takings, keep up to date with bookkeeping, small website updates on Wordpress and google. 

The role is permanent part-time between 20-30 hours per week with possibility for more in the future. Starting date mid to end February. 

In this role you will: 

• Welcome customers to our calming wellness space
• Assist customers with their queries
• Oversee and maintain cleanliness and the presentation of the clinic
• Answer calls and book appointments
• Manage emails, queries and customer support
• Guide clients to the right practitioner 
• Manage the clinic bookings and ensure good flow for practitioners.  
• Manage client orders
• Manage stock 
• Maintain a clean; safe, fully stocked and well organised work area.
• Ensure adequate stock of supplies and equipment.
• Manage administrative tasks within Xero -invoicing, reconciliation and other general bookkeeping tasks. 
• Able to take pictures of our space and services for social media 
• Actively promote the clinic, treatments, services, sessions and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available
• Create basic content within Canva design
• Manage the sauna, client preferences and back to back bookings. 
• Prepare client files and documents for practitioners 
• Check in calls to clients after treatments

Outstanding candidates will have: 

• Experience in a similar customer-facing role 
• Strong communication skills and confident phone manner
• Desire to deliver high levels of customer service
• Ability to identify areas that need further systems, and create the appropriate system
• Must be detail-oriented and have ability to multi-task
• Experience with bookkeeping software and online booking systems. 
• A keen interest in health and well-being and a general understanding of naturopathy, acupuncture etc. 
• Be available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and some Saturdays as well as late night Thursdays. 

Preferred but not necessary:

• Marketing experience or desire to learn more within the clinic
• Training in an element of health and wellness 
• Social media management 

About Us

We are an Integrative Wellness Clinic located in Glenelg, offering infrared sauna, naturopathy, acupuncture, massage and craniosacral therapy. As well as events and training on premises. We offer a relaxed, calming space to work from with plenty of support and on the job training where needed.
