What is the process behind Metabolic Balance?

The Metabolic Balance Diet prioritises whole, unprocessed foods over processed or refined sugars, tailored to each person's unique biochemistry. The plan centers around four main food groups: carbohydrates, fats, proteins, and vegetables, combined in specific ratios to regulate your blood sugar and support healthy metabolism.

This approach educates our clients on the significance of nourishing their bodies with nutrient-rich foods for overall health. By including a range of colourful fruits and vegetables, lean proteins, and healthy fats in their meals, followers of the Metabolic Balance Diet can enhance energy levels and metabolism.

The Stages of the Metabolic Balance Plan

Phase 1 (Preparation Phase): This initial phase involves a two-day process to prepare the body. It focuses on cleansing and detoxifying to help rid the body of toxins before starting the protocol.

Phase 2 (Strict Conversion Phase): In this stage, tailored nutrition is implemented to stabilise your metabolism according to your specific requirements. This is the initial introduction of portion-controlled meals, leading your body to start resetting blood glucose and inflammation. Lasting 4-6 weeks. 

Phase 3 (Relaxed Conversion Phase): During this phase, which is intentionally more laid-back, you can gradually reintroduce foods like sweets while adhering to healthy eating principles. You become attuned to your body's hunger and fullness cues, heightening your awareness of your physiology and digestion. Your metabolism remains stabilised, leading to an overall improvement in your well-being. Lasting 4-6 weeks. 

Phase 4 (Maintenance Phase): This stage involves sustaining your lifelong commitment to your new eating habits. It aims to uphold the advantages of a healthy weight, balanced blood sugar levels, and metabolism. Maintenance phase allows flexibility and teaches you how to make this way of eating a part of your everyday life. Ongoing.

How it works


1. Initial

Your Initial Consultation (in-person or via Zoom) is all about getting you started. This will be scheduled anytime from the 4th of March.

You will be given a blood test referral form, complete an intake form, have your composition goals assessed, and work with your Metabolic Balance Practitioner to ensure they have all the information to get your plan ready.


2. Metabolic Balance Plan Consultation

One week after your Initial Consultation - Here you will be taken step by step through your specific plan, given your App logins to access all your report and foods on an easy to use Mobile App. You will be taken through the 1st Phase and future appointments will be planned to keep you on track and accountable.


3. Follow Up

We want to make sure you succeed! We will be seeing you in the clinic or speaking with you all of the 12 weeks on your plan. This can be a mixture of phone, zoom, or in-clinic consultations depending on what suits you best. We know accountability and support is the key to your success. We want to be here cheering you on the whole time.
