Personalised Treatment Plans

One of the main benefits of using a naturopath for fertility is the personalised treatment plans. Each person's body is unique, and what works for one person may not work for another. Our naturopaths will take the time to understand your specific health concerns and create a treatment plan tailored to your individual needs. This personalised approach can lead to more effective and long-lasting results.

We take into account the many things that can be impacting someone's fertility, such as gut health, stress, nutrient deficiencies, hormone imbalance, vaginal infections, inflammation, thyroid and more. Don't forget male fertility is just as important as the woman's, we recommend you book a fertility consultation to ensure you can both speak with our Naturopath.

Hormone Testing

We know the importance of your hormones and fertility. We can identify a range of different hormone imbalances with our DUTCH Test kits. These help us understand hormones such as cortisol, oestrogen, testosterone, progesterone, androgens and more in the form of metabolites. What this means is a deeper look into how we can treat your hormones compared with a blood test. Did you know a males fertility can be impacted by his testosterone production? We find a DUTCH test can be assessed to determine why this is the case and the best way to support male testosterone production naturally.

At times we will also refer to the lab for blood testing to assess, prolactin, nutrients and inflammatory markers. The benefits of using a Naturopath for fertility is the whole body approach, we find by addressing both partners health we are supporting not only wellness but also reducing chances of imbalances getting in the way of your health journey.

Natural Remedies

Our Healthful Naturopaths use natural remedies such as herbal supplements, vitamins, and dietary changes to help improve fertility. These natural remedies are often gentler on the body and have fewer side effects compared to traditional medical treatments. They also work to address the root cause of fertility issues rather than just treating the symptoms. By supporting ovary, egg and sperm health we can optimise your fertility increasing the chances of conception. This can also be useful alongside IVF to increase the quality of the embryo.

Emotional Support

Fertility struggles can take a toll on a person's emotional well-being. We understand the importance of addressing the emotional aspect of fertility and provide support and guidance to our clients. Our Naturopaths may recommend techniques such as meditation, acupuncture, or counseling to help reduce stress and improve mental health, which can have a positive impact on fertility. Stress alone an have a massive impact on ovulation, egg quality and inflammation all factors which can impact someones fertility journey.

Cost-effective alternative

Compared to traditional medical treatments, naturopathy can be a more cost-effective option for fertility. Many natural remedies and techniques recommended by naturopaths are affordable and can be done at home.

How far ahead should I book a fertility consultation?

We recommend you start your pre-conception journey a minimum of 6 months prior to when you want to start trying. This is the benefit of seeing a naturopath for fertility, we want to have you in amazing health BEFORE you start trying so that you reduce stress and overwhelm with your journey. When we can identify any imbalances or concerns further out, we can then have time to assess and treat to ensure a smooth sailing conception journey. But don't worry it is never too late! We see plenty of couples who just don't have the time and want to start now, we understand everyone is on a different journey and can tailor a plan no matter where you are in your fertility path.
